Bangkok, July 29th, 2013 – D2C Inc. joins force with MCFIVA to expand mobile advertising business in Thailand and Southeast Asia by making a significant investment to MCFIVA to become one of a major shareholders.
The deal comes at an exciting time in the region and as the region is experiencing a significant increase in the penetration of smart devices. Today’s mobile phone has become a core device from which consumers receive information and stay connected. In Thailand alone, almost 120% of people having a mobile phone and more than one third access the web through their mobile devices this year. This presents a significant opportunity for brands to reach out to consumers.
According to Digital Advertising Association of Thailand (DAAT), digital media spending in Thailand will grow 34.12% in 2013 to 3.73 billion baht, up from 2.78 billion baht in 2012.
